Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is a 4 year undergraduate degree course in the field of Pharmacy education. The students who are interested in the medical field (except to become a doctor) can choose this course after the completion of class 12th (PCM/B). After the completion of this degree, the students can practice as a Pharmacist. Pharmacists can work in a range of industries related to the prescription, manufacture & provision of medicines. The duration of this course is 4 years.

D.Pharma. is a two year diploma course pursued by students after the completion of 10+2. This is the shortest pharmacy course that focuses on imparting deep knowledge about the production, consumption, advantages and disadvantages of all the allopathic medicines and drugs.
They can work as Pharmacist, Scientific Officer, Production Executive, Medical Transcriptionist. Some of the recruiting companies are Cipla, Abott India ...

B.Pharm Lateral Entry admission programme, students get direct admission in the second year of the B. Pharma course.
B. Pharm (Lateral Entry) is an undergraduate 3 years course after passing 3 year Diploma in Pharmacy (approved by PCI). It imparts skills to work in industry, clinical set ups, drug control organizations, education and research sectors in pharmaceuticals.
