B.Pharma.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is an undergraduate degree course in the field of Pharmacy education. The students who are interested in the medical field (except to become a doctor) can choose this course after the completion of class 12th (PCM/PCB). After the completion of this degree, the students can practice as a Pharmacist. Pharmacists can work in a range of industries related to the prescription, manufacture & provision of medicines. The duration of this course is 4 years. The B.Pharm is one of the popular job oriented course among science students after class 12th. In this course, the students study about drugs and medicines, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Medicinal Chemistry, etc. This course provides a large no. of job opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
Total duration of the B.Pharm course shall be 4 years, each year comprising two semesters. Each semester shall normally have teaching for the 90 working days or as prescribed by AICTE from time to time.


B.Pharma. (Allopathy) Lateral Entry

B.Pharm Lateral Entry admission programme, students get direct admission in the second year of the B. Pharma course.
B. Pharm (Lateral Entry) is an undergraduate 3 years course after passing 3 year Diploma in Pharmacy (approved by PCI). It imparts skills to work in industry, clinical set ups, drug control organizations, education and research sectors in pharmaceuticals.


D.Pharma. (Allopathy)

D.Pharm

D.Pharma. is a two year diploma course pursued by students after the completion of 10+2. This is the shortest pharmacy course that focuses on imparting deep knowledge about the production, consumption, advantages and disadvantages of all the allopathic medicines and drugs.
They can work as Pharmacist, Scientific Officer, Production Executive, Medical Transcriptionist. Some of the recruiting companies are Cipla, Abott India ...
